Welcome to Lake District Guided Walking

We offer guided walking in the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and Howgill Fells. Richard, who leads the walking, is a qualified Mountain Leader with 40 years hill walking and climbing experience in these and many other mountain areas of Great Britain and Europe. He is also a member of a Lake District Mountain Rescue Team.

Richard can show you the quieter ways up many of Lakeland's most trodden peaks. He will also, if required, give an introduction to Mountain Navigation and Hill Craft. Great walking doesn't have to be in the high mountains, there are many delightful itineraries around the Lakes and in the Dales that will suit the keenest walkers. These days can also be enjoyable when the weather conditions make the high peaks more challenging.
